英国青少年初级数学挑战赛是一个 60 分钟的多项选择题挑战赛。

在前不久，哈罗海口成为全球认可度最高的数学竞赛之一——袋鼠数学竞赛的授权考点，这项竞赛是针对1~12年级学生的一项全球规模最大的青少年数学竞赛。哈罗海口超过70名学生参与了这项竞赛，考试结果将于5月底公布。
成为授权考点，赛事支持，鼓励学生参赛获奖，这些日常教学中累积的成就以及学校给予的支持，不仅会使学生对学术更加有信心，也将成为他们大学升学路径的有力支撑。

The Junior Mathematical Challenge is a maths competition run by the United Kingdom Mathematics Trust (UKMT) to improve the mathematical education of young students. With over 700,000 participants each year, it is the UK’s most popular school mathematical challenge.
All of the Harrow students participating won prizes！
Ten Y7 and Y8 students from Harrow Haikou entered this international competition and won 4 gold, 4 silver and 2 bronze medals!

The Junior Mathematical Challenge is a 60-minute, multiple-choice challenge.
It encourages mathematical reasoning, precision of thought, and fluency in using basic mathematical techniques to solve interesting problems.
The problems on the Junior Mathematical Challenge are designed to make students think. Most are accessible, yet still challenge those with more experience.
Recently, Harrow Haikou became an authorised test site for the Kangaroo Maths Competition, one of the most recognised maths competitions in the world. This competition is one of the largest youth maths competitions in the world for students from Year 1 to Year 12. Over 70 students from Harrow Haikou participated in this competition and the results will be announced at the end of May.
Becoming an authorised test centre, supporting students with events and encouraging them to compete and win awards will not only give students more confidence in their academics, but will also provide them with strong support for their pathway to university.
